This post I'm writing in reference to an article with subject "It rings of racial slurs" that came in Bangalore Times dated 13 July 2007. What the article brings out to light (if true) is shocking.

Now let us come to our Bangalore Times article. It talks about Call Centre employees getting irate response from the UK. Yes, it might be true that the miscreants who caused havoc at Glasgow may be hailing from the Garden City. But that does not mean that we are all bad!
If we were to take revenge on anyone of those who sucked wealth from this golden land for some tens of centuries... we would have drawn our swords... atleast half a century back. But we will NOT. Whatever we speak, shout, blurt... we are secular... we are tolerant... we are kind and loving. Because these are in our blood, these are in our thoughts...
The article says callers from the UK point out to our people in call centers with reference to terrorists! They say they are happier that we are not there in the UK, and say one terrorist less! Look who is telling... had they not been parasiting on us for two centuries, we would have been lot lot happier. We still tolerate that. In fact we freed ourselves from their clutches without hurting them. The whole world knows the treasures we were relieved of in those dark years...
In spite of all these, how would they have the heart to harass and ill treat us? We still tolerate all this. We did not (and will not) protest... We would appreciate if the other end will realize...

I have not read the exact article It rings of racial slurs , But your title says What did we do I would seem sinful as I have to say Why we have done nothing ,
You must not forget that we have done nothing, when one has done nothing just sending some guys naming peace keepers to Wild Taliban’s, when one of our Air India has been hi-jacked for freeing a brutal persons out and you must also remember that we lost a youth who has true Indian gen.Yet I don't find a appreciation for the Young blood spot by The government. Ok I accept when you blame the time people kept silent that all alone India can flush Taliban, but when world tries to flush Taliban there should be a guys with guts to show them.
These all I don't mean to say that we are bad enough, but I would like to say that we people should show a kind of arrogance to the wild species of terror,
All we are now facing the results of the silence we made when opportunity was available.
Showing arrogance with peace will fit to Gentle men, but we should show the arrogance at its harsh state to the wild terrors,
Today’s guy’s spit on us is due to that silence.
We can be secular but not so that most corruptors can breath easily in this land, We are tolerant but not that we keep seeing beasts released for few emotional things. We are kind and loving not to the guys who don't know the meaning of that.
This must be changed in our blood, We need what we deserve.
We need more human resource than Homo sapiens.
Hi Siva, My first comment for a blog on net. It was a good one. Good understanding on indias' position and some history. The following article on the issue of communication (office related) was too good...
