Hi All,
Back in school days, I used to bubble with weird ideas... most of them are useless, impractical and defying fundamental laws of physics. Looking back at those days, I now want to ROFLOL! But after all that laughter, when one looks at this a bit seriously, there is a message.
Ideas in kids are weird, for sure - no doubts. But the fact is, ideas EVOLVE! There was some point of time in life where I had given up "thinking" such weird ideas. Why? Fear of being laughed at! Friends, elders at home, even teachers... would all laugh at you.
Look at the society for a moment - kids are brought up to FALL IN LINE into one of the standard professional streams... no hard feelings on parents, but they are too scared of their kids failing on trying their own ideas.
There are chaps who can still venture into newer ideas, along with fulfilling their parents' dreams. But for them, our setup is still unfriendly. How many of us know about IPR and how the same is managed in India? If you think this is silly, think of a "simpler" question... what is Salmaan Khan's next film?
What am I trying to tell here? I am trying to tell that (a) by sheer nature of the "society" setup we have, the IDEAS budding scientists are killed early on, and, (b) even if such ideas somehow manage to survive, we do not have ventures to experiment them and CHANNELIZE them...
Why am I telling this now? Because, I turned back and saw that some of the ideas that I had, had not yet been proved absurd... which means, there is a good chance that some of them could be valid still... one of them is an automotive concept, which might be a possible working solution.
Would invite the readers of this blog to comment on similar ideas they had, which they were not able to take forward. Feel free to write back.
Regards,
SKB
